For us, it’s all about family. Suncoast Key Real Estate Services, Inc. is a family owned and operated enterprise that puts people ahead of profits. We understand if we treat all of our clients as members of our extended family, we will all benefit long-term. This mindset permeates everything we do. Whether it is our industry-leading marketing or how we interact with a tenant when they have a difficulty, our relationships are what matters most…and what separates us from many of our competitors.
Our company was founded by long-term Tampa Bay area residents and business owners who have decades of experience in all aspects of real estate and marketing. We draw on our knowledge of the area and our business background to help ensure that your needs are always met. We are also rental property owners, just like you, and understand how this ever-changing market can affect your financial goals.
Always know that you will be dealing with one of the owners when you call. Our goal is not to the biggest, but rather the best…and we are not looking to expand outside the Suncoast region of Florida. The Ownership Team
Beth Deufel – Beth is the person who will more than likely pick up the phone when you call our offices. She handles most of our work orders, repairs and book-keeping. Beth has been involved in the Tampa Bay real estate market since the mid 1980s. During that time she has been a rental & sales agent, a property appraiser and a property manager. Her varied background and local area knowledge is a true asset to our team. Beth enjoys boating, diving and long walks on the beach (seriously, she does!).
Andrea Rogers – Andrea is our closer. She has an unparalleled knack for putting together people and property. She would have made a great match-maker. Fortunately for us, she choose real estate instead. Andrea has been a multi-year, multi-million dollar sales agent before turning her energies toward the Tampa Bay rental market. She has been involved in the Tampa Bay community for decades as both a Realtor and a mom. She has three sport-minded children (one a Univ. of Tennessee grad, one a Univ. of Georgia senior and one a semi-pro hockey player). Andrea has been involved with local PTAs, Girl Scouts and USMS Masters Swimming. Andrea is currently trying to master P90x.
Richard Rogers – “Rich” is our resident geek. His love of all things digital is only surpassed by his love of the Tampa Bay area. He works hard to stay on the cutting-edge of internet design, development and marketing. His work ensures that your properties get the exposure they need to rent quickly. In addition, Rich oversees our property portal site. He also maintains all of our internet properties (just like this one). In addition to being a geek, Rich also has a strong background in coaching. He has worked with National champion swimmers from 7 different countries. Rich brings that work ethic and goal-oriented approach to Suncoast Key.
Key Personnel
Susanne Beck – Susanne has over forty years experience as a teacher in the Hillsborough County school system, with her last ten years working in the gifted program.. If anyone can help match your family with the right area schools, it’s Susanne. In addition to her abilities helping match families and neighborhoods, we rely on Susanne for a multitude of other assignments. Her leadership abilities, coupled with her willingness to do whatever is needed, is invaluable for the day-to-day operation of our business. Susanne is one crafty character….literally. She has taught stained glass at the University of South Florida and can always be seen with a brush, staple gun or a pair of scissors in her hands…and yes, let a good teacher, she refrains from the temptation of running with scissors.
Smith “Andy” Gause – Andy’ comes to Suncoast Key with strong education credentials in international business and nearly two decades experience in the Fortune 500 realm as an upper-level executive. specializing n project management. As a sale agent, his business expertise is invaluable when helping potential investors find the right rental properties to add to their portfolio. Andy also helps out showing rental properties from time to time. He is also involved with our property maintenance division helping to streamline repair requests in a timely and efficient manner. Adding to his sense of well-rounded capabilities, Andy, an avid boater, is currently pursuing his Captains License.
